Menlungtse in Tibet is a 23,000 foot peak surrounded by steep rock cliffs and iron-hard ice walls, like this one. Sculpted into sharp fins by wind and the action of blowing snow, this sort of mountain feature is best appreciated from a distance, as to climb it would be horrifying.
