Mountain Mail Blind Climber Reveals How
This week on MountainZone.com! On September 5, Erik Weihenmayer became the first blind climber to summit the traditional Seven Summits when he reached the top of Mt. Kosciusko, the highest peak in Australia. Erik speaks exclusively with MountainZone.com in a revealing interview in which he explains how he climbs, physically, and whether he would be climbing if he had not gone blind, "...it is sort of an interesting thought to think that my life might be different if I could see, except in this way: blindness is what happens to you, I think your character is sort of what sort of enables you to push beyond that."
