Kirkwood Mountain Resort, rated among the top 10 resorts in the nation to
learn to ski by USA Today, is making a significant investment in the first
time skier this season with the introduction of an adult retention package
that is the first of its kind in the Sierra.
The total cost of the package is $299, which is the equivalent cost of our
early season Value Pass. The package is simple to purchase and use. First,
you must participate in the Ski and Board School's First Time Program. The
cost is $70 and includes equipment, lift ticket and a lesson. At the
completion of the lesson, you will be offered the opportunity to join the
First Adventure Club. The additional cost is $229. Participants receive a
letter from their instructor that allows them to purchase the pass from the
Season Pass office. Membership is good for exactly one year from the date of
purchase and includes a winter season pass, unlimited rental use and
unlimited lessons during the year of membership. It also includes a 10%
discount in the retail store. The pass grants access to all lifts except
Chair 6 (Cornice Express) and Chair 10 (The Wall).
The First Adventure Pass will provide individuals with the opportunity to get
beyond the first day on skis and to experience the sport without worrying
about the associated costs. At the end of the first year, pass holders will
be given the chance to pay a prorated amount for a Full or Value Pass through
the end of that season at the early season pass price.
Don't miss out on this incredible offer; come on up to Kirkwood and become a
lifelong skier or snowboarder!
Offer open to first time skiers and boarders 13 years and up; not available
to previous passholders or Avid Card holders.
