Since our "We're Back" announcement in late August that certain assets of
MountainZone.com have been purchased from bankruptcy proceedings, the
response from our audience has been overwhelming. More than a thousand
emails were received in the weeks following our announcement (

the story), some of which are reprinted below. To our readers we express our
thanks that you have stayed with us, and pledge our commitment to continue in the
tradition of excellence in mountain sports reporting.
Your return is a welcome relief. Tell us what we can do to keep you in
business. Regards

I am delighted to see you back again and heartened by your commitment to
quality and your focus on goals. Reminds me of the fortitude it takes to
scale any of the 8,000 meter peaks! Work hard and success will be yours.
Katie Beery
Not a climber but always intrigued by it!
It is great to see you back online. I have missed all the stories and
photos from the high country. Fortunately for us readers, MountainZone has
the determination to continue the expedition in the face of adversity and
return home.

Great to have you all back and flying solo again!
Bruce Norris
Welcome back, I've missed you.

Dear Sir
Dropped in to check out the latest on mountaineering's longest-running story and could not find any update.
What about plans to find Irvine's body ?...... and that camera?
I hope that Mountainzone has not let BBC make all the running...!!
best regards from the UK,
john brewer
Having just read Dave Hahn's article on this spring's Mallory and Irvine expedition I presume that no trace was found of Andrew Irvine and that other concerns became more paramount?
Are there any more plans to search for Irvine in the future,or is this considered somewhat futile now?
Thanks for the excellent book and TV show from the 1999 expedition--a truly moving experience.
Like many others I have been fascinated by the Mallory and Irvine story since I was a young child. My interest was stimulated by my late grandmother who lived with the sister of Howard Somervell, whose autograph I still have.
Thanks again for your reverent and brave efforts.
yours
Richard Duerden
