Adidas Pingora Trail Shoe

Upside: Can handle most terrian, especially wet NW conditions.
Downside: Allow some extra breaking in period.
Rating: ^^^^ (4 out of 5 peaks)
Ideal User: Multi-sport athlete. Wet Conditions.

These off-trail peds are the perfect shoe for any mud-stomping, trail-climbing outdoor fun. Used extensively for day hikes throughout the Cascades these mid-height hiking shoes provided great stability and support on varying grades of trails and scrambling all season long.

The Pingora has the durability of a hiking boot, yet is much lighter then boots. Pingora's patented TraXion outsole it provides all the nimbleness of a running shoe, but great torsional stability.

The compression-molded EVA midsoles provide excellent cushioning and support, while helping reduce the overall weight. We found the high-traction rubber outsoles superior to many other models, particularly in the famous rainy, muddy weather of the Pacific Northwest. The Pingoras provide optimum traction and grip with extended wear and durability.

But maybe best of all the fotbeds are treated with agion to resist the buildup of odor causing bacteria.
