Good Morning Mountain Zone, this is Charles Corfield here. It is Monday morning, May 11th, 1998. We have received many emails from people who visit the website and for which, thank you very much.

I'd like to say that although we try to respond to as many of them as we can, if we have not responded to your email, we have read it, and we thank you very much for sending it in. The volume of email we're receiving makes it prohibitive to write responses to all of them, but it is very encouraging to receive all your good wishes and thoughts for the summit day. So for all of you people out there who are enjoying the website, thank you very much for making it possible. We now hope that we will get a good break in the weather and a successful summit day, and we will keep you up to date and posted, and we will get as many images back to you as we can. Thank you very much. Charles Corfield, Everest base camp.

Charles Corfield, Expedition Science Manager
