Good morning everyone back in cyberland, this is Luis Benitez from the Alpine Ascents Everest Expedition. It's a beautiful morning here on the South Col, or should I say evening.

It's about 9 o'clock and a couple hours ago the A team, being Al, Vern, Joe and Willi, rolled out super strong; everyone all thumb's up, feeling very, very well going for the top. B team is just waking up here, we're going to get some water in, get our down suits on and start the process for a hopeful departure time of 10 o'clock.

"It's also a very special day for all of us because we will be joining Peter Hillary, Peter Athans and Brent Bishop, the sons of Everest, as they roll to the summit..."
All evening we were filled with thoughts of nervousness, trepidation, the average and usual thoughts you are facing when you are going for the highest point in the world. It's also a very special day for all of us because we will be joining Peter Hillary, Peter Athans and Brent Bishop, the sons of Everest, as they roll to the summit on the top of the world, as well as the Hungarian team, hopeful to be the first Hungarians to summit Mount Everest.

We're all hopeful, we're all thumbs up and we're all feeling very, very good. So, for now, this is Luis Benitez wishing everyone back at home 'happy day' and please keep checking Mountain Zone periodically throughout the day for our progress.
