" We have received a radio report from Ang Tsering at Camp II. He has a clear view of the summit and says he can see people moving upwards high on the mountain....."
Hello again Mountain Zone! We are patiently waiting at Base Camp for a report from the mountain. It has been a long night for Ellie and I waiting by the radio, but the sun has now risen, and has almost reached our tents. We are happy that soon we can turn off the heater, remove our down layers and enjoy the beautiful clear morning that is approaching Base Camp.

From here, we can see bright blue skies and minimal winds high on the mountain. I'm sure the team is enjoying incredible views!

We have not heard from the climbing team for a while now...could be that they are busy climbing to the roof of the world! We have received a radio report from Ang Tsering at Camp II. He has a clear view of the summit and says he can see people moving upwards high on the mountain.

We also just got a call from Lakpa. He is in front of the group breaking trail through the snow and is almost at the South Summit. The rest of the team is not far behind.

We will send in the radio calls from the climbing team as soon as they call in!
