We have some real light west winds, perhaps 8km/hr, blowing occassional snow, but many stars out, so we're hoping to climb into calm, clear conditions.

It looks like we have one day of a good weather window coming up; the forecast is good for summit so we're taking advantage.

Everybody is definitely pysched, all the Sherpas and all the expedition members, and ready to go, so we're off on the big event here. That's all for now. We'll keep you updated several times on the course of the climb.
