Hello everybody on Mountain Zone, this is Willi Prittie reporting from the Alpine Ascents International Mount Everest program. We spent another day in Camp II today, to acclimate today, so a pretty slow few days waiting for your body adapt to the increase in elevation up here.

We're at about 6,400 meters. The acclimation day's activities almost began with a disaster, kite flying was interrupted as the 50 pound test cord snapped in the gust. However, permanent psychological damage was averted as the kite was later determined to be behind the glacier and was recovered intact.

Later on, after a nice breakfast, we all roped up and went for a walk out up on the glacier up towards the Lhotse Face to get a little blood circulating, a little activity up here. It's an absolutely gorgeous day, kind of alternating between light breezes and dead calm up here.

Got back, we had a nice wonderful lunch and basically spent the afternoon lounging in our first sunny afternoon on the mountain. Every other afternoon previously has been interrupted with snow squalls and whatnot moving through, but pretty much this afternoon was continuous sun and we very much appreciated it.

Do you still copy?

Ellie Henke, Base Camp Manager: Yes we do. Coming in loud and clear and the phone is still working. I've got it at in a different position than I used to so we're doing real good. Do you want to keep talking?

Willi: So the afternoon activities were pretty much lounging around, taking it easy, a little bit of ice climbing, bouldering, walking around chatting with other expeditions up here. One of the important things is that all expedition members would like to wish all family and friends checking in with Mountain Zone a very happy Easter.
