Ciao Mountain Zone, here is Simone again. In this moment here I think it's around 7 o'clock evening time and I am in Base Camp. I'm arrived after one week's resting. Now we enter in the most delicate part of our expedition. In fact, tomorrow, me and Denis, we will start from Base Camp to going high and we will try to reach that highest point that we can.

We don't know how, if our acclimatization is enough to reach the summit but anyway the plan is go tomorrow to Camp II, after tomorrow in Camp III and then to go to South Col and in that place we will spend the night.

During the night we will wake up and we will see how we feel, and only that moment we will take the decision or to return down for the last time, take the last rest, and after try the traverse. Or we feel good, try the Everest summit, only the Everest summit without oxygen and coming down going little down for the last week and after return here and try the traverse. Probably the second solution to climb Everest should be the best because probably if we climb Everest our acclimatization going to the stars. We will have super acclimatization.

But anyway, this is unknown for us and for everybody. So I can't tell you with 100 percent guarantee.

So stay with us because tomorrow we will start a very important moment for us. I feel good, Denis feel very good, our pulse is below 64 per minute. Our blood is full of globulin, our doctor, Professor D'allaglio , yesterday checked me out and thought that we are ready to do a strong effort.

So the next days we will see that it is true or not. Anyway in the next days probably you will receive message not from me but from the other expeditions — the American expedition — and I will take with me the digital photo camera that they gave me, very friendly. And I will took many photos during our attempt and after when I will be back, after three, four days in Base Camp and I will talk to you, bye-bye.
