Transcript:
Hello, it's Sunday at 7:30 on the 28th of September. It's Craig Calonica at advance base camp calling in.

Everyone is down off the mountain, safe and sound. It's extremely windy right now, as you can probably hear in the background. We're going down for a few days to take a break from the wind and the cold, and come back and take a shot at this thing.

The Swiss team is leaving, the Colombian team is leaving, maybe one or both of the Catalan boys are leaving. The Spanish team is still here and about seven of the British boys are back up. It looks like we have about a two week window of activity where there will be people doing what they can do with what we have as far as weather.

Anyway, we'll be taking the sat-phone and computer down with us to base camp, since the whole crew will be pretty much down there and we'll be able to remain in contact this time with you guys. I hope everyone is okay back at home. Very windy and cold at advance base camp — signing out. Bye-bye.

— Craig Calonica, Expedition Leader
