Turning Around from Acclimation Trek
Hi you guys. This is Craig Calonica. It's Thursday the 14th. Sorry I've been out of contact – batteries and rainy weather have kind of healed me. Now I'm on the road walking every day, so I haven't been able to do much with the solar world. Anyway, I'm at Tilicho Lake right now. It's gorgeous, beautiful, sunny weather. Yesterday was a hump day. We went from Manang to -- we were coming to Tilicho Lake but they built a new trail and it was so fogged in that we couldn't see where we were. We wound up following it through and it went up about 5,000 feet above where we needed to be, so we got to thrash all the way back down. BIG burn-out.

Anyway, beautiful day and we'll be here through today and tonight, and tomorrow and head back to Manang tomorrow afternoon and over to Thorong Phedi. And the next day to Jomson, over Thorong La Pass, and then a night in Jomson. Then after that we'll be going down to, actually Muktinath. We'll be going from Thorong Phedi over the Thorong pass to Muktinath and then the next day to Jomson. The next day we fly out back to Kathmandu. I go to Lhasa the 21st, work out some situations with the CTMA, fly back the 23rd and blow out of here for Everest on the 24th.

Definitely really strong right now. Within a few days I was already over 17,700 feet and felt great, so I couldn't ask for more. Anyway, I will probably try to get back to the email world if I can get the power on the computer -- I mean the solar panels to work. I hope everyone's well back there and I'll talk to you soon. Bye.
