Hi Mountain Zone, Wally Berg calling you about noon on June 21st. Our big plan for the summer solstice has not happened yet, and in fact, I don't think it will happen.
We're up here in pretty much blizzard conditions. The sky above us is partly clear at times, but we have some serious high winds. So we're buttoned down now, kind of on hold. We've got plenty of food for the next few days. We're where we want to be in terms of making an attempt on Gunnbjornsfjeld, wind conditions permit.
At this point, it's just sort of classic expedition 'hold your own' in high winds and not ideal weather. So we'll keep you posted as the day goes on and probably as tomorrow goes on about our attempt on Gunnbjornsfjeld.
