Hi Mountain Zone, Wally Berg at 17,000ft on the, I believe, it's the 25th of May today. Storm day on Denali, no question about it. I would be pretty comfortable in saying nobody's moving in any direction on this part of the mountain, certainly not up or down from here at 17,000ft.

We've got what we need; we're holed up; we're in our North Face VE-25s sitting tight. Decisions will need to be made, soon, as to whether we can continue up or whether it is time to go down.

You know when you're in these places, the mountain holds all the cards. And right now the mountain says, 'why don't you sit there, we're in a storm for awhile.' And that's exactly what's happened.

We're all well and comfortable. Good team; people on this team get along really well; we're good friends, we laugh, we tell jokes, pass the hours away in the tent.

I'll continue to keep you posted. Given up on any chance of an ascent today, and guess we're just hoping for better weather tomorrow. We'll keep all the Mountain Zone viewers informed about our next decision.

Also, I know down there in the mist, somewhere at 14,000ft, is Vern Tejas and his team. And as soon as I can contact him, I'll pass along news as to how they're doing and when we might hook up with them. Bye, for now.
