Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Greg Ritchie has been involved in many exciting and successful ventures. His early career for many years as a cameraman with various news agencies helped shape his future achievements. Working as a professional photographer for several years, he has also specialized in public relations, focusing on promoting corporate sponsorship for major cycling and sporting events around the world.

Greg has been an avid outdoorsman for his entire life. His love of hiking and climbing for more than 25 years, and his sense of adventure has taken him to destinations around the world. Most recently, he completed a television project for the Travel Channel, which aired in February 2000. During this project, Greg worked as an associate producer and cameraman for a successful summit of Gasherbrum II in Pakistan. His strong sense of adventure and photography has taken him to every corner of the globe, where he is most at home.
