Howdy Mountain Zone, this is Willi Prittie with the Alpine Ascents International Denali program. We are looking at about 9am this morning here, local Alaska time. We have calm conditions, snow falling, kind of, semi-poor visibility. We can, kind of, see the orb of the sun through thin overcast, and we can see maybe half a mile and make out rocks, but grayout conditions when it comes to being on glacier and snow.

But it is pretty mild and warm, about 15 degrees Fahrenheit here, so we've decided that we're going to take an acclimation hike as far as Denali Pass today. If it turns out things improve, we may push on from that point and go ahead and do a real summit attempt. So it will be real good to get out and stretch our legs today.

We've had some vicious games of hearts, and cribbage and chess on our layover days here, but it's definitely time for some physical activity. So it's out and about into the warm conditions here today and have some fun high in the mountain. So that's all from our group so far today.
