Hello there Mountain Zone, this is Vern Tejas with team [Unintelligible] at 14,200ft on Mount McKinley, also known as Denali. Today Scott Darsney's group came down and handed us the phone, so we are going to be contacting with you for the next week or so as we ascend the upper mountain of Denali and take you through the ropes as it were. Climb the ridge up to 17,200 and the up the Autobahn to Denali pass and hopefully on to the summit.

We have been very fortunate so far, all of our team members are feeling healthy. We have only had a few headaches, so we are hoping to move up tomorrow. That again is weather permitting like so many things here. We have had a spell of rather rugged weather in the last 12 days there have only been one or two days reasonable for climbing. I just talked with a man who has frostbite on several fingers, they summited yesterday, and it was probably 70 - 80 below with the wind chill factor. So not very good weather for summiting. We are hoping we can move up during this spell of snow and wind and then get up to the higher altitudes where we will actually be able to wait out the weather and get a nice clear sunny day. Who knows, it might even be on the solstice the way things are going.

Stick with us, keep your fingers crossed and hope for that good weather. We'll talk to you tomorrow.

[All in Background] Vern, come back to the hot tub.

Oh, I go to go back to the hot tub, we'll talk to you later. Cheers.
