Settling In and Feeling Good

Good evening Mountain Zone, it's Saturday, 5:30 Alaska time on the 10th. This is Luis Benitez calling with Scott Darsney and Matt Szundy. We had a great day today: we did a carry up to 16.2 and it actually went really, really well. Everybody seems to be feeling really good and in good spirits. We got all the gear to our cache at 16.2 and tomorrow we hope to be a rest day and the day after that we'll move to the camp at 17.
Matt Szundy will call you later on this evening and let you know how his evening was spent. He was doing a rescue — rescuing a climber from Hong Kong that was way up near the Devil's Thumb. So he'll call you later on with that. But other than that everyone's doing well, we just back down from our carry. We're going to have a little dinner and settle in for the night.
