Buenos días, Mountain Zone. This is Vernon Tejas with Alpine Ascents' Team Mileno [laughter in background]. Well, we're a little sedate today because we made our first big carry up the mountain. We went from Base Camp to Camp I, over 5000 meters up into the sky. Holy smokes, was the air thin up there, it was so thin that several people asked me not to sing, maybe that has more to do with my singing than anything else.
Hey, the world out there, Merry Christmas, this is Christmas Eve. We just had a wonderful dinner of Christmas polenta, right here at Base Camp. Oh man, talk about everything we could possibly think of. We got music, we got good food, and we've got love in our hearts. So we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas to you and yours from Base Camp on Aconcagua. Okay guys, let em have it...Merry Christmas [everyone], and Feliz Navidad. Ciao.
