Hey cybernauts, welcome to the summit of the top of Africa. We're sitting here taking team photos at the summit at Uhuru Peak which is the highest, at exactly 5,895 meters above sea level. Everybody's just a little bit tired but we're getting some great shots. Everybody's been able to look down at the crater; it's beautiful.

It's a fabulous day. We're looking at miles and miles of clouds going off into the horizon. Mount Meru popping up, and Mawenze off to the east. We've light snow; we had a great storm the other night and it covered everything with white. We were a little bit challenged as to whether or not we were all going to be up here but as fate would have it, it mellowed out and the team was able to plod right along, with several hours we finally got up here.

"I'd say it's just a little bit above freezing up here on the summit right now — blue skies and the crater behind us"
The current temperature and time is, oh my goodness, it's 10:05, 10:05 in the morning and it's a beautiful day. I'd say it's just a little bit above freezing up here on the summit right now — blue skies and the crater behind us. Everybody on the team is wishing all their loved ones at home good wishes and we'll be home in a week so look forward to us, keep the kettle on and ciao for now.

Any P.S.'s? Hey to Seattle, Tacoma, Lacey, Portland, Sally, Wendy and Joe, great time and I look forward to being home.

[Susan: inaudible]

Hey Joe, this is brother Bill, I made it buddy, see ya.

This is for my buddy Bob, I told you I would be here and I'm glad you were here, too. Take care.

Hey, this is Dallas, to mom, Reese, and Eric we love you and we made it, finally, praise the Lord. And hello to all our friends in New Jersey. Ashland, I didn't forget.

Hey, hello from Mexico. Hello Anselmo, Terry, Susie, Pancho .... [in Spanish]...

This is Matt again, I'd like to thank Diane, Damon and Michelle for all their hard work in helping me train and thanks again to my girlfriend Ellen. Ellen, I love you. Thanks.

Once again, ciao for now, signing off from the top of Africa. Wahoo!
