Hey Mountain Zoners, this is Vernon Tejas with Alpine Ascents' Team Harambe. Guess what it is today.

We're at about midnight and we're sitting down having the last good meal we're going to have for a little while. Everybody's pretty hyped up right now; we're preparing for our summit attempt.

We have one headache [laughs] and we're all filling up our water bottles and filling up our guts so that we can go long and slow all the way up to the top and back down.

"We got a full moon, stars out, Scorpio's just setting and it looks like Orion's on the way up and so are we!"
Right now we're at about 5° below freezing and the weather had been pretty horrendous with a hail storm last night as we went to bed, but thank you very much for your good wishes and your prayers because evidently they're working. It's cleared off. We got a full moon, stars out, Scorpio's just setting and it looks like Orion's on the way up and so are we!

Everybody's totally hyped up and ready to roll so keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned. Hopefully our next cybercast will be from the top of Africa. Ciao for now. [team yells Wahoo! in background] Yippee!
