This is Mike Roberts and Matt Walker for Alpine Ascents Denali 9, on the 25th of June. Team vegeMIGHT has been keeping gentlemen's hours today at Camp III, 14,200'.

Lightly falling, misty snow and the lure of a leisurely pancake routine made the kitchen seem a welcome retreat. Reading, (unintelligible), reflecting on the past 12 days, acclimatizing and anticipating the climb ahead have occupied today.

"...reflecting on the past 12 days, acclimatizing and anticipating the climb ahead have occupied today..."

Dave Rosenthal has decided to go down and will be missed by all. Dave was very happy with the materials picked for his fabulous water and oil paintings. We all look forward to seeing them.

The plan for tomorrow is to move to Camp IV at 17,200'. Now for some personal messages from team members:

Don passes on I'm having a great experience and can't wait to get back to Edie and the kids.

Matt would like to say he's had a few griblet sightings.

John says hi Mom and Dad and Jamie, miss you very much and love you. There is plenty to eat up here, no worries, I'm sure I'll survive, thanks for the pictures.

Xavier passes on can't wait..to get home, pop the top down and go for a ride with the two girls in his life that matter.

Walt passes on hi Christy. My emotions seem extra-sensitive up here. I find myself almost crying every day. For example, I have been thinking about Dad often. He even comes to visit in my dreams. It was also hard to fight back tears when David turned back. Most of all I find myself missing you more than anytime else in my life. Love, Walt.

And to my sweetheart Patti, I look forward to seeing you soon.

Adios amigos, tune in tomorrow and we'll give you an update on our progress to 17,000.
