Hey MountainZone fans, this is Eric Larson with Alpine Ascents 11 expedition. We're the last expedition of the season for the company, and the conditions on the glacier are looking a lot better than they did mid-season.

I just want to introduce my team. I'm going to be working with Dave Bangert, and then Robin Griffin, she's from South Carolina, Zolton Bornemissza, we have Mark Winter, who is from South Africa, Charles Gardner, Kent Way and Clay Friedman. It looks like a pretty good team, we just met this morning, we're waiting at the tarmac at Talkeetna, the airstrip, for our plane to fly us on to the glacier. The landing strip is looking pretty good. They've gotten about 12-18 inches of fresh snow recently, so the landing should be pretty okay. And last night the temperatures did drop down to 27 degress, so it is freezing now, so we're going to be moving on night schedule for a while, probably all the way up to 14 camp, and take it day by day and figure out a strategy for our day by day.

I'd like to wish my wife thanks, and appreciate the support she's given me, and also Clay Friedman's mother's birthday is this Monday, so he'd like to say Happy Birthday to her. We hope everybody keeps in touch, watching our progress, because your energy and support is really appreciated and needed. Everybody's excited for this trip, and excited for the cybercast, so keep a good eye on our team and our progress, and our next dispatch will probably be in about 2 days, when we make it to 10,000 feet and that's the first site we can send a cell phone call out of.

So until then this is Eric Larson with Alpine Ascents 11, and we'll get back to you with our team name.
