Hello MountainZoners, this is Vernon Tejas with Alpine Ascents Dalai Lamas!

"We've got most of our clothes on today, and we're carrying sleds with fuel and food around the corner..."

We're currently at 13,500' above sea level, crossing around Windy Corner. It's very windy today, it's living up to its namesake. It's blowing snow, and, pretty chilly. We've got most of our clothes on today, and we're carrying sleds with food and fuel around the corner, where we will make a depot, what we call our food cache, at about 13.7. The reason why we're going in such inclement weather is so that we don't have to come back through Windy Corner when the weather might even be worse, and not allow us to cross through.

So here we go...you guys feelin' good? Everybody's doing well, cheers, ciao for now.
