Hey there, this is Matt Walker and Mike Roberts with Team Vegemite. We are sitting right now at Kahiltna Pass, basking in the sun. The sun came out about an hour or two ago and we're greatly relieved to get some heat.

The winds have died down and things are much, much more pleasant. We are on our way to camp at 11,000 feet where we will spend the next couple of days. You won't hear from us for a couple days.

"...it's kind of hard to tell what's a threatening cloud and what's just a bunch of smoke coming over...."

Our schedule is going to be that we are going to come down from camp 11, back down to the Kahiltna Pass area and pick up our cache, move back up to camp 11, then do a carry around Windy Corner, and then the next day we are going to move up to 14 camp. Of course that is all weather pending.

As of right now the weather's looking pretty good. Forest fires north of here are definitely having an effect on the weather; we've got some pretty funky clouds coming through. We can smell the smoke and it's kind of hard to tell what's a threatening cloud and what's just a bunch of smoke coming over.

All is well here on Denali and we will talk to you in a few days, okay.
