Hello this is Doug Workman with Dr. J and the Generators reporting from Talkeetna. Today is June 17, 2002, and we got off the mountain yesterday after a very long descent from 17 in one push with a single stop at 11,000 feet for a quick brew and nap.

We had a beautiful descent down the West Buttress proper in perfectly clear conditions which we all appreciated. Like I said we brewed up at 11, for a short and much needed rest and then pushed on to base camp in a single push from 17.

"It was an excellent, safe expedition with lots of sun. We ran up the mountain in 16 days roundtrip..."

Marshall led the way down from 11 with speedy legs after a four-hour nap there and then we had a day of sun and rest waiting for the plane at Kahiltna base and all celebrated at the West Rib in Talkeetna last night.

It was an excellent, safe expedition with lots of sun. We ran up the mountain in 16 days roundtrip and Eric and Doug hope to see all members again soon.

Thanks to everybody involved: Jay, Marshall, Todd, Jeff, Peggy and Bob and we wish you all the best in your adventures to come. Thanks a lot and hope to see you gain soon.
