Howdy Mountain Zoners, this is Matt Szundy calling in from 14.2, the Dozy Bonkers are reporting for those following our progress.

Denali has given us some of its best, zero visibility, low temperatures and high winds. With that much fun, we've been waiting out the weather here at 14.2. It's been our makeshift home as of late, please send all mail via NPS Talkeetna, 14.2 camp, third igloo on the right.

On the upside, Shane has shown his skills at high-altitude Hacky Sack and the rest of the crew has taken up wall building. We have been getting pounded by winds lately and are looking forward to a possible move to high camp tomorrow. The weather has finally given us hope with the lightening of the wind and it looks like a promising push to high camp tomorrow morning.

Notes from the climbers. Tom says, 'not much new to report, this is our fifth day at camp 4. Glad to have had good guides who know the mountain. Climbers at camp 5 have had it tough with the winds and many have bailed due to conditions. Some climbers at camp 4 are calling it quits. We'll hang in there and keep our fingers crossed for a summit day chance. I send my best to all, spirits are good'

Pete says, 'que hora, anticipation is building, spirits are high.'

Shane says, 'Jolene, can't wait to get home to you and the chocolate, talk to you this weekend.'

So for now, this is Matt calling from 14.2 and Alp 4, the Dozy Bonkers. We are anticipating a move to high camp tomorrow, we will then have a rest day and then a summit bid potentially. We have plenty of food cached up high and the team is looking really strong and is very excited to go up and make our move to high camp.

So we'll talk to you as the weather permits and as we allow ourselves time to talk on the cell phone. Take care from 14.2.
