Hey this is Doug Workman [unintelligible] 14,000 feet with Alpine Ascents group 6, formerly known as the Night Crawlers, who have evolved to Dr. J and the Generators, named after Dr J himself and the generator that he built himself that he's carried up to 14 so far. With the turn of a crank he can warm his feet and hands although I think he's going to be choosing to leave it behind as we now approach the upper mountain.

"We're moving at a pretty fast pace and we're having to hold everyone back in order to acclimatize..."

Conditions are excellent, we traveled today from 11 to 14 to ferry a load through warm temperatures and overcast skies, which kept the sun off of our backs. It was a lot colder the last few days, reported temperature at 14,000 last night was -27, however now its probably about 30 degrees above zero farenheit. Everyone is doing very well, the moral is high, we're moving at a pretty fast pace and we're having to hold everyone back in order to acclimatize. So, we will be reporting back again tomorrow from 14. And that's it.
