Hey folks this is Allan Carbert calling with Alpine Ascents on behalf of John Race and Terry Ahern. I just got a call from John Race just minutes ago and it is 5:32 Alaska time on the 31st of May. John called me from the summit. He and four of his expedition members are standing on top as I deliver this message. They made their way up most of the mountain in white out conditions but with no wind and warm temperatures. So we want to send off a hearty congratulations to those people. Sounds like everyone got very, very high up on the mountain however Jake and Suzanne were turned around at 19,700 feet due to altitude however they are in good health and in good spirits. Getting up that high on the mountain is no small achievement so we want to congratulate everybody and we're certainly wishing for them to have a safe descent down the mountain and I know we're all looking forward to seeing those guys back here in Talkeetna in the next several days. John thought it best that I call this in as he is trying to hustle up double time and beat what looks like some bad weather. So at any rate that's it for now and we hope you all follow our progress throughout the rest of the season. Thanks so much.

Allan Carver, Alpine Ascents International
