Hello, this is John Race with Alpine Ascents group #3, Driving With the Brakes On. It is 2pm Alaska time, May 30th, and we are at High Camp, 17.2. We had hoped to make a summit attempt today, but it has been windy and snowy, no chance of us going up.

"We've got plenty of food and fuel, so we're just going to wait it out and watch for a window..."

So we're just sitting tight, putting up big walls, making a good secure camp. We're hoping we get a break in the next couple of days, the weather forecast looks okay, it's not great but okay.

We've got plenty of food and fuel, so we're just going to wait it out and watch for a window. That's it for now, we'll check in soon, bye.
