Hello again folks, this is Dave Morton with The Sunshine Boys, Alpine Ascents Denali expedition #2.

We are at 14,000-foot camp, we got here last night, or yesterday afternoon at about 2:30. We moved up from 11 and it was a beautiful day until we got around Windy Corner and then we got some pretty significant winds as we moved into camp. We had probably about 25 mile an hour winds, with gusts up to 40, 45, something like that. It was clear skies just a lot of wind down low, beating down on the camp and coming down the fixed line area. It looked like the ridge up high was windy, too. But at about 7 o'clock last night it all died down and it's been a beautiful day today. We went down and picked up our cache at 13,500 feet.

"The whole team made it up to 14 yesterday and after a quick recovery, everybody was working to set up a big camp. It took a few hours to dig in a camp with the big winds..."

And everyone is doing great. The whole team made it up to 14 yesterday and after a quick recovery, everybody was working to set up a big camp. It took a few hours to dig in a camp with the big winds but everybody did a great job and everyone is feeling really good.

Mike wants to say 'hi' to mom and dad, he's doing great and he says you raised him well and not to blame you, hopefully you get that code.

But anyway, it's a beautiful day and we're going to try to take a load up tomorrow to 16,000 feet at the top of the fixed lines and cache some food for our summit attempt and our time at 17. We will try to get in touch with you when we get back from that carry tomorrow. And then the following day, at this point, we're planning to move up if everybody is still feeling great and the weather permits. Otherwise it might be the day after. It looks like tomorrow might be the worst weather we've had in the last week, or over the next four or five days, but only tomorrow morning we'll know that, so hopefully we'll be carrying tomorrow.

Everyone says 'hi' to their loved ones again and we will talk to you soon. This is Dave Morton. Thanks.
