Hello, MountainZone, this is Alpine Ascents International Ama Dablam Expedition 2002. Today is the 30th of November. We're at Camp I here, looking out at a beautiful view after a pretty day with a little bit of clouds in the sky. We've made all our carries and moved everything up, and now we're having dinner, a little risotto after chicken soup. And we're trying to eat before it gets dark.

So, we don't exactly know what we're going to do tomorrow, but I assume we're going to go climbing. Let's see here, who's next on the list to speak to you? I guess Chris.

(Chris): Hi, this is Chris, calling from Camp I. Everything's going well, just enjoying the view of the sunset, and gonna turn in early tonight and head on to Camp II tomorrow. Everybody's doing well, and we're excited, looking forward to it. Talk to you soon. Here's Don.

(Don): Hi, this is Don, I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, and everything's well here. I hope everything is well at home. Look forward to seeing everyone soon.

(Scott): Hello, this is Scott. We moved up to Camp I today, an we're just about to have dinner, enjoying the view and the sunset. Everything's going well, and we'll talk to you soon. Bye.

(Houck): Hi, this is Houck, a little out of breath. Just got back from walking across camp. Camp up here on the side of...Camp I is probably about 100 foot or, 50-100 foot difference between the lowest tent and the highest tent, and so never a trivial undertaking here at over 18,000 feet. But we had a good day today and look forward to another good day tomorrow. We're moving pretty fast right now. And I'll let you talk to Randy.

(Randy): Hello, this is Randy. We, ah, (are) watching some French climbers descend from the summit. They went all the way up from Camp I today. And there are a couple of other groups up here, a Japanese group and an English group. Our team's all feeling great. Yesterday I had kind of a pounding headache. Today that's all changed, I'm feeling great. Missing the family and looking forward to seeing everybody when I get back. But other than that, all the good climbing's in front of us. Tomorrow we're going to climb the Yellow Tower, and everybody's excited about that, except for Chris, he's really kind of scared about that...you know, he's just looking forward to getting back to the Tall Mikes (laughter). Anyhow, hope everybody's doing well, we'll see you around.

(Jim): Hello, this is Jim again. Just to give you a little statistics, we're sitting here at Camp I, about 18,137 according to the altimeter in my watch, somewhere in that neighborhood, a little over 18,000 feet. We're looking out across to the...looking out to the east we see (transmission fails).
